WHAT MAN SAYS ABOUT LEADERSHIP

Leadership has been described as the "process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task." Leadership is one of the most relevant aspects of the organizational context. However, defining leadership has been challenging.

According to the late Jules Masserman, American psychoanalyst and former member of the faculty of Northwestern University medical school, leaders must fulfill three functions: the leader must provide for the well-being of the led, provide a social organization in which people feel relatively secure, and provide a set of beliefs.

A leader is a person who influences a group of people towards a specific result. It is not dependent on title or formal authority. Leaders are recognized by their capacity for caring for others, clear communication, and a commitment to persist. An individual who is appointed to a managerial position has the right to command and enforce obedience by virtue of the authority of his position. However, he must possess adequate personal attributes to match his authority, because authority is only potentially available to him.

In the absence of sufficient personal competence, a manager may be confronted by an emergent leader who can challenge his role in the organization and reduce it to that of a figurehead. However, only authority of position has the backing of formal sanctions. It follows that whoever wields personal influence and power can legitimize this only by gaining a formal position in the hierarchy, with commensurate authority. This end-time generation suffers from countless man-made crises simultaneously: polluted food, air, and water. Poverty, heinous crimes, terrorism, and global epidemics. Broken marriages and family relationships. Regular conflicts and outbreak of wars. All these are happening because humanity has lost the right kind of LEADERSHIP. This right kind of Leadership is called the MESSIANIC LEADERSHIP.

WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT LEADERSHIP TODAY

...Do justice in the morning, and deliver the plundered one out of the hand of the oppressor, that My fury not go out like fire and burn so that none can put it out, because of the evil of your doings. (Jer 21:12 LITV)

Behold, I am against you, one dwelling in the valley, rock of the plain, says the LORD, those who say, Who can come down against us? Or, Who can enter our dwellings? (Jer 21:13 LITV)

But I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings, says the LORD. And I will kindle a fire in its forest, and it shall devour all things around it. (Jer 21:14 LITV)

COLLEGE PROFESSORS AND SCHOLARS ARE PUT TO SHAME BECAUSE THEY DID NOT LIKE THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD

For God's wrath is revealed from Heaven against all godlessness and unrighteousness of people who by their unrighteousness suppress the Truth, since what can be known about God is evident among them, because God has shown it to them. (Rom 1:18-19

They have treated superficially the brokenness of My dear people, claiming: Peace, peace, when there is no peace. (Jer 8:11)

The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and snared. They have rejected the word of the LORD, so what wisdom do they really have? (Jer 8:9)

For though they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or show gratitude. Instead, their thinking became nonsense, and their senseless minds were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools. (Rom 1:21-22)

And because they did not think it worthwhile to have God in their knowledge, God delivered them over to a worthless mind to do what is morally wrong. (Rom 1:28)

Therefore, I will give their wives to other men, their fields to new occupants, for from the least to the greatest, everyone is gaining profit unjustly. From prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely. (Jer 8:10)

The LORD rises to argue the case and stands to judge the people. (Isa 3:13)

LEADERSHIP THAT PLUNDERS THE POOR

The LORD brings this charge against the elders and leaders of His people: "You have devastated the vineyard. The plunder from the poor is in your houses. (Isa 3:14)

Why do you crush My people and grind the faces of the poor?" says the Lord GOD of Hosts. (Isa 3:15)

Your rulers are rebels, friends of thieves. They all love graft and chase after bribes. They do not defend the rights of the fatherless, and the widow's case never comes before them. (Isa 1:23)

So now we consider the arrogant to be fortunate. Not only do those who commit wickedness prosper, they even test God and escape. (Mal 3:15)

CHILDISH AND WOMEN LEADERSHIP DESTROY PEOPLE AND NATIONS!

As for my people, children are their taskmasters, and women rule over them. Oh my people, your rulers cause you to go astray and destroy the way of your paths. (Isa 3:12 MKJV)

Woe to you, O land, when your King is a Child and your Leaders eat in the morning. (Ecc 10:16 MKJV)

THE RIGHT KIND OF LEADERSHIP

Blessed are you, O land, when your king is the son of nobles, and your leaders eat in due time, for strength, and not for drunkenness! (Ecc 10:17 MKJV)

THE BLIND LEADERSHIP OF RELIGIOUS LEADERS

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You devour widows' houses and make long prayers just for show. This is why you will receive a harsher punishment. (Mat 23:14)

Then the disciples came up and told Him, "Do You know that the Pharisees took offense when they heard this statement?" He replied, "Every plant that My heavenly Father didn't plant will be uprooted. (Mat 15:12-13)

Leave them alone! They are blind guides. And if the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit. (Mat 15:14)

THE LORD WILL CUT OFF THE CORRUPT LEADERS AND THEIR FOLLOWERS

So the LORD cut off Israel's head and tail, palm branch and reed in a single day. (Isa 9:14)

The elder and the honorable man is the head, and the prophet who teaches lies is the tail. (Isa 9:15 HNV)

For those who lead this people lead them astray; and those who are led by them are destroyed. (Isa 9:16 HNV)

Therefore the Lord will not rejoice over their young men, neither will he have compassion on their fatherless and widows; for everyone is profane and an evil-doer, and every mouth speaks folly. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still. (Isa 9:17 HNV)

WICKEDNESS IS LIKE A FIRE THAT BURNS THE FOREST

For wickedness burns like a fire that consumes thorns and briers and kindles the forest thickets so that they go up in a column of smoke. (Isa 9:18)
